I am trying to calculate um and Ks using solver in Excel but i am getting a negative value for Ks. Can anyone explain what does this mean?? I am looking for any explanation in literature but i have not been successful. can anybody please help me? Thank you :)

Sir, Ks here refers to the saturation constant and um refers to the maximum specific growth rate. the experiment was assessing the growth pattern of Candida albicans in the presence of a metabolite which extends its lag phase for a particular duration. this experiment was also performed by varying the concentration of the substrate in the media but keeping the metabolite constant and vice versa.
