Dear colleagues,
I am trying to use the EPA's Bees 4.0 to measure the environmental impacts of a food production process, with respect to the Water Intake. However, the final result is a negative number (specifically, it has resulted from glucose production). Do you have any idea of why there is a negative characterization factor assigned to this process' water intake? or on what is the basis that different processes are compared and evaluated?

Ramin Ghamkhar Please check the inputs for allocation and if you have taken any credits in your model. Alternatively, do you have Simapro? If yes, try creating the same model in SP. Next use the "Network"or "Tree"option. In the cut-off window you can choose the lowest number (in %) to see the actual process that is contributing towards the negative impact.
