isolates of Cherry leaf roll virus, bacterial blight or canker, with different symptoms,or affected by humidity and temperature, you may do some test, inoculation and culture, will if it is bacterial or fungal diseases, and sometimes environment contamination
Hello, I don’t know whether you mean Walnut blight, caused by Xanthomonas campestris. The symptoms appeared at the beginning of infection as small, water-soaked spots on immature fruit then darken and rapidly enlarge, lesions may formed on tree bark possibly extend into the pith causing cankers to form lesions on leaves. The latter look like brown with a green-yellow perimeter and the leaves may coalesce to form large necrotic areas.
Hello Maria , you must cultured the leaves of cherry on which symptoms appeared on suitable media in the lab. and then notice the organism grown. If any growth appears, you must test its pathogenecity . If the same symptoms appear , you can considered this symptoms caused by living pathogen.
As I think its not caused by fungi . It may be caused by bad nutrition .
At first you should culture the symptomatic parts of leaves in the PDA medium and Nutrient agar medium. Then you will be able to confirm whether this disease caused by fungi or bacteria. Actually it may be caused by deficiency of nutrients.
