Hi,

I have an aminosilane layer on glass which has a net negative charge. I'm curious if you think that adding NHS to this layer should cause a permanent blocking of the charged amines? I know that often, NHS-PEGs or other NHS-R groups are used to passivate a surface, but I wondered what just NHS alone would do to the surface? Also, do you think the NHS-passivated surface would have a neutral net charge?
