Hi. What kind of equipment do you use for taking pictures of gross lesions during necropsy?
I am looking for not too fancy digital camera. Can anyone recommend a camera that takes good quality images of gross lesions of small laboratory animals like rodents or rabbits? Thanks, Aga

For best results, I suggest a DSLR with a dedicated macro lens. I don't think you'll need more than a 60 mm macro lens since you can get close to the subject without scaring them away, like an insect, which would need a longer lens like 90 mm or 150 mm. I also recommend a ring flash and a tripod.
