3. It opens several doors for future collaborations which may not be the case if one publishes in a very obscure journal.
4. Additionally, very good journals generally subject the papers or articles to rigorous scientific scrutiny that ensures that the final paper that comes out is the best it can ever be.

It is very difficult now a days publish article in reputed journal, it is time consuming though it has several advantages, article get published may be after months due to heavy competition, tempo of writer becomes almost nil
