Fabricio, the current mobile communication standards contains the radio designs which are working in multiple rf bands. It is so that each band has maximum bandwidth of 20 MHz and these bands can be combined to form bands up to 10 MHZ band.

This is one application. There are also other applications where the one radio can work for several wireless rf standards such as WLAN and LTE.

I think a major target for the builders of rf radios is to make universal radio that contains al the existing wireless communication standards.

My answer to you questions is yes for sure. In the implementing of the rf front end, one normally implements it off chip using resonance circuits. As the circuits introduced in these papers are based on conventional LC circuit configurations and switches, then all these circuits are practical and can be built in commertial radios.

We also implemented the matching circuits as off chip LC circuits with suitable switches.

We are going to fabricate our rf circuits and we will report their net performance and publish the results.
