Basal metabolism - energy of the body is in a state of complete rest, providing the functions of all the organs and systems, and the maintenance of body temperature. Daily human need for energy depends on the daily energy expenditure, which are made up of energy consumption: 1) the basal metabolic rate, and 2) the assimilation of food, and 3) physical (neuro-muscular) activity. And here we are talking about reducing the temperature by 0.1 and 0.2 degrees Celsius and in animals and in people who took Stardust (SSH&H) more than a year.
