We prefer sonication over homogenizer. After sonication, both encapsulation efficiency and PDI improve quite substantially. Using #6 rod, we can get the diameter down to around 250nm.

Are you referring to probe tip or bath sonication? One thing I should have mentioned is that we really want 50-200nm distribution.
