Thank you for your well-meditated answer. Your response does solve the problem of worldwide diffusion.

Unfortunately, ResearchGate and Academia.edu do not have the same authority as scholarly journals in different countries. Must I sacrifice this authority because of copyright laws of given journals?

You have also the third option of FACEBOOK. As many of International Professionals (EVEN DRUG REGULATORY AUTHORITY MEMEBERS) are using FACE BOOK.

I think you have third option of face book to solve the problem of worldwide diffusion.

I read recently of a boycott of one of the biggest journal publishers that caused the publisher to back down. This is also a good strategy. As for the gravitas of non-traditional publishing, I am seeing more and more researchers self-publish or use less traditional sources. The goal is disseminating the information, not seeing how many cites you get in select journals. (That should be the goal, in my opinion.) The issue I have with some of the journals is that they are very cliquish in whose articles they will accept, and so many researchers get discouraged. One of my fellow grad students was telling me about a particular person who had thirty articles published in the past year, but some were published in obscure journals that only a handful of people ever read, and some of the topics were just rather, well, vanilla.

One way to oppose the encroachment of big business publishers in the academic world is to follow a neo-Ghandian strategy of noncooperation, ignoring them and publishing in alternative venues. The role of ResearchGate and Academia in disseminating knowledge, as noted above, can compensate for the relative obscurity of some of these alternative venues. In Mesoamerican studies, and other areas of Latin American studies, many of the most prominent journals and book publishers are outside the English-language "citation index" loop, and probably have a greater role in furthering advancement in our collective understanding of the topics they cover, usually in Castilian and/or Portuguese.

There are some journals that can translate your research findings into multi languages. An example is Global Journals Inc.

But most important scientific journals ask you if your research has been published in another magazine, However, as a marketing aspect of publication (Inc), it must encourage multilingualism in the process of publishing the same research in a language other than the language of that journal. and did not consider it as a violation of publishing rules.
