The required instrument would probably depend on your financial budget and your environmental experiment (seas, land, crops , city, buiding ? ) etc ...
see for example : http://fr.windlogger.eu/collections/data-loggers
with a small battery and an SD Card, it works fine.
Based on the financial budget and the performance record for environmental experiment Kestrel 5200 Professional Environmental Meter would be good for you.

thanks for replying, unfortunately those instruments in the page you suggested they do not measure wind direction, plus they are "spot sampler", instead I need to install a logger to get an overall picture of the wind parameters across a monthly scale.
I think it´s not only the kind of instrument, you also have to be sure about the answer of the instruments, beause if you put them into crops there will recived the influence of the turbulence, I recomeded you to find assistance with a Meteorologist.
That is actually what I want to measure, as for my study, we regard crops as ecological barriers to wind-mediated dispersal of zooplankton resting stages. Therefore I would like to have, beside the meteorological station in Dedelow, few other points close to my system, where I expect a deviation from the average values.
It´s an interesting project, in your case I recommended you to made first an interpolation of wind speed and direction in the area you will use,Take care because you must use GIS or a CAD as Surfer to modelling the wind and after thar select the places where you must put the new stations.
