You may ask Andrei Sikorski at Akvaplan-Niva in Norway (www.akvaplan.niva.no). He is a Polychaeta expert.
Kind regards, Halldis Ringvold
It's difficult to be sure based on photos only, but considering the chaetae and the place of what seems to be branchia (3rd picture) I would bet on family Orbiniidae...
I would bet on family Eulepethidae. Try Grubeulepis or Pareulepis.
Would be good to see the anterior portion, including the head. But yes, looks like Orbiniidae.
and also the posterior portion. Orbiniids usually have different parapodial morphology on the thorax and abdominal regions.
I just realized now - is that elytra ("scales") on 2nd and 3rd photos? If yes, then Fábio might be right by betting on Eulepethidae.
After a quick view of the photos, my answer matches with the Eulepethidae by the follow combined characteristics:
Photos 2 and 3 – elytra 2 or 3 times as long as broad, external margin incised forming unjointed digitiform processes
Photo 4 – dorsal cirri small, conical and smooth
Photo 5 – notosetae are of two types: 1) stout and bent, 2) fine and long

There is huge pressure of getting good impact factor on scholars now a days. On the other hand Taxonomy is a very dry subject and the concerned papers can only get citation in same group of organism.
