There are many design parameters as the piston shape the injection angle and the injection nozzles' holes number. Also, there are may operational parameters like injection pressure and injection timing. I wish these parameters will satisfy your research. Good luck.

I am looking for in-cylinder parameters like HRR, Peak pressure, ignition delay, PRR, wall heat loss etc. Can you add anything to the list and provide the necessary technical literature?

If you carried out numerical study, there are various parameters such as IMEP, efficiency, in-cylinder flow characteristics (3D simulation) and engine out emissions (NOx, CO, soot, UHC).

In addition to the answers above: Besides the cylinder pressure, you should measure the intake conditions (intake air mass flow and pressure) and the exhaust conditions (exhaust gas mass flow and pressure). Of course you measure the fuel mass flow and injection timing. The ignition timing is visible when analysing the cylinder pressure progression.  With these measured parameters, you can calculate the efficieny distribution in specific operation points. The efficiency distribution includes the complete efficiency chain, starting from the chemical energy content of fuel, considering the therodynamic effects of combustion, carnot process, heat losses, scavenge losses, etc. Based on the measured torque and rpm at crankshaft, you can calculate the mechanical losses, too.

Now you can start: All these data state the basis for a detailed study, optimization and comparison of an engine in each investigated operation point under scientific aspects. Besides the in-cylinder oriented consideration, the exhust gas emissions should be measured, too. Different blends of Bio-diesel will lead to changing share of exhaust gas components.
