Because those information can narrow the species that you need to look at to figure out yours. As you know for copepods sometimes you need to dissect them, its not only clearing and checking sometimes. So other related information can at least narrow the possible species and then with checking those and looking at yours finally you can id

I agree totally with Dr Ali Halajian, especially as I have long worked on parasitic copepods and among others on Caligidae.

The chalimus stages have frontal filaments, which is not the case for the specimens on these 2 photos
