ABAQUS runs without any units - all numbers.

You can understand this as:

1) All of the units are SI, such as Newtons, Pascals and meters.

2) You can then scale these units and it'd also work - if your input is in millimeters and Newtons, then you get kilo-Pascals.

Essentially, the output units will match your input units.

thanks Wang for your answer ....  so if the density is 0.0000025 what is the unite you expect to be ? it is for concrete material  !!!

It depands upon which system of units you are following e.g. SI, CGS, FPS etc

We must be consistent in using units regardless of the SI units.

Different books use various approaches of units .

If all measurements are in mm the other units should be in its empirical form ,for instance density should be g/mm 3
