Hi Muriel,

1. The BRUSH gene in legume might has something to do with temperature. See the attached paper for detail.

Paper title: The Temperature-Sensitive brush Mutant of the Legume Lotus japonicus Reveals a Link between Root Development and Nodule Infection by Rhizobia

2. In the paper, they also mentioned some temperature-sensitive mutants in other legume species (see p. 1792-1793):

" In legumes, several temperature-sensitive mutants have been isolated, such as sym5 in pea (Fearn and LaRue, 1991a) and nucleoporin133 (nup133) and nup85 in L. japonicus (Kanamori et al., 2006; Saito et al., 2007)."
