I want to work on MDI based polyurethane. Kindly tell me its uses.
Dear Muhammad Amjad, I don't think that there exists specific applications of MDI based PU, usually applications and properties are reached with more than one diisocyanate. Please see the attached files. My Regards
Rigid MDI polyurethane is used mainly insulation of refrigerators.

Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) is used in the production flexible foam. Its applications include bedding and furniture, carpet underlay, packaging, coatings, sealants, adhesives, transportation (automobile parts) and elastomers.
Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) is used in the production of rigid polyurethane foams used for home, refrigerator insulation and construction. Utilization of MDI in polyurethanes include coatings, adhesives, sealants, many types of footwear, sports and leisure products and elastomers (CASE) found in items such as paints, glues, and weather resistant materials. MDI can also be used as a binder for wood and to produce mold cores for the foundry industry.
