In order to determine Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P)and Potassium(K) in soil/sediment and water of static waterbodies (Lake, ponds, wetlands), what equipments and sampling procedures are to be followed for quality research?
water samples can be collected with a water sampler (Hydrobios) but if its not available, you cam improvise by using a clean plastic container of about 1litre. water sample can be collected at a depth 1-6cm during sampling days and sampling point distance of about 200m-500m. Soil samples can be collected using Auger or grab samplers and then stored in a small container and taken to the laboratory for preparation and analysis. please read more from this work.
Well said, i have a lot of books on standard methods for examination of water and have done a lot of work on water quality and still carrying out one currently. i know there are standard sampling procedures and procedures for laboratory analysis of water samples.
