Looking for softwares that can be used for predicting material properties of steel. Is there any open source software or academic software available as university designed programmes that can be used to predict, density, specific heat, thermal conductivity, YS, UTS at different temperatures for various kinds of steels

7. How I use properties: Take measured properties data from DEFORM database. I have written a multiple interpolation program to find the value for the required temperature, strain and strain rate.
Is there any free/open source software that can be used for generating CCT and TTT diagrams
For thermal conductivity there is a neural network available at http://www.msm.cam.ac.uk/map/steel/programs/thermalmodel10.html
It gives estimate of error in the prediction, which at high temperatures is similar to the experimental error. At low temperatures I think more needs to be done to consider the microstructure of the steel.
Also in the map library in general there are various models to predict different properties of steels in the conditions you mentioned.
