Hello Sachin; My impression from the literature is that Megachilid bees are the principal pollinator. These bees are sensitive to the pesticides used on many crops. The role of honeybees is likely heavily influenced by the interaction between Megachilids and those pesticides. Best regards, Jim Des Lauriers
