I have the resources and the time period needed for individual tasks to be completed. it is a group of tasks. I want to schedule the right algorithm to optimize the time spent, cost used.
If the work schedule is not achieved, will be carried over to the next month. in that case, I want a new resource allocation pop-up so that the scheduled task can be achieved. I want to know how fast I need to progress henceforth to compensate for the delay. I also want to know the additional costs that I will incur in order to hire more resources in a limited time.
For the time schedule display, I thought of a Gantt chart. Will this work?
please suggest codes/algorithms/step by step process flow, so that I can create a dashboard.

The approach depends heavily on how many tasks and resources are involved. For a small number of tasks, say 20 or 30, you might be able to do an exhaustive search of all possible schedules and list the ones that satisfy your constraints. The next thing to think about is, what makes one schedule better than another? Or, are all schedules that meet the main constraint (say, all tasks are done on time) the only objective? If there are other objectives they need to be identified. Assuming you have too many tasks for an exhaustive search, then you think of heuristics such as "Greedy" -- that is, start allocating the tasks one after the other until you reach a complete schedule or a dead end etc.
