I have found several spectra of the UVVis absorbance of silver nanoparticles in free solution (ie in a cuvette).  Does anyone have any curves that might show the transmission or reflectance of light incident on a glass slide with a silver nanoparticle monolayer?  We've done a simulation that seems to imply, depending on how the silver is affixed to the glass, that the plasmon resonance peak might actually be blue-shifted on the silver layer as opposed to in free solution.  We're having a lot of trouble finding such measurements, either on slides or optical fibers with silver nanoparticle monolayers.  Does anyone have any resources on this?
