I have raised culture of Pisolithus tinctorius on media from its fruit body. Can anybody suggest me the microscopic characteristics to confirm the culture.
Macro and micromorphological differences, in terms of carpophores and of isolated cultures, have been observed in the fruit-bodies of P. tinctorius in several countries, so I recomended you molecular techniques using DNA extraction from
the fruit-bodies or from cultured mycelium and amplification of the ITS (internal transcribed spacer),region of the group of genes from ribosomal RNA with the polymerase chain reaction methodology, what is currently known as P. tinctorius will be segregated
