Failure of immune response to the fungal infection is the major cause of invasive fungal infections (IFIs). MiRNAs are the master tuners of immune system.
I do not work with fungal miRNA, I work with human miRNA, so it's just a kind suggestion, in human more than 1000 miRNA have been identified, hope in fungi also there might be a lot of miRNAs. Better you can look databases, miRNA prediction tools that carry information of fungi. There you can get miRNA to the signaling pathway network which will help to select miRNA for fungal immune infection and literature will support you to select the best one.
Saurabh Mandal Thank you very much for your answer but I mean that which one of host (human) miRNAs set the optimum immune response to the fungal pathogen? Therefore, here we discuss about human miRNA profiles and their interactions with immunity to fungal pathogen. Fungi are from the eukaryotes and they have own miRNA profiles but we didn’t ask about them. Thanks again
