What are the methods to implement series capacitance in microstrip environment?

I want to implement series capacitance in distributed and transmission line based configuration. I have the values of the capacitance. What are the different methods to implement it?

Dear Debapratim,

I think one of the straight forward method is to make a make a slit or a cut an the transmission line perpendicular to its paths. This stems directly from the definition of the capacitor. If you want to increase its value to can a surface mount capacitor.
