I want to determine the geometric shape factors ga, gb and gc of air-filled pore space to calculate the weight factor of the air phase in de Veries model. i used 3 different unsaturated porous media (silty sand, composts and compost-mixed soils (compost:soil=1:5 and 1:10 ratios ). the air-filled pore space geometry is different in these materials and make complex geometry. I have confused to determine geometric shape factors. I determined the solid fraction geometric shape factors and calculated weight factors (ks) for different materials based on there shape.

Dear Sir, Thank you so much for your kind response. I calculated the thermal conductivities of soil and 3 different composts based on their volumetric fractions and considering the different solid fraction geometry. I got different assumptions and defined rules for the calculation(specially for air filled pore space) and I was able to compare the predicted and the measured values with RMSE and bias 0.06, 0.03 for soil, 0.004 and 0.006 for compost A, 0.008 and 0.062 for compost B and 0.005 and 0.047. I want to confirm and continue it.
