Could anybody please tell me what are the different types of cells that originate from HNSCC patient samples. What are the type of studies that it can be used for?
I understand there are epithelial, fibroblasts, and keratinocytes that can be derived from HNSCC tumor samples. Can immunological studies be done using these type of cells?

Your question is very broad and really it depends on what you would like to do. When you talk about patient sample you should understand that virtually any patients' sample contains every thing meaning it has fibroblast, immune cells, vascular cells, and somatic cells. In your case HNSCC should have few more things in addition to what has been mentioned such as Keratinocytes, epithelial cells, sweat glands ... etc.
Your other question about immunological studies tells me you need more reading. Because if you wish to study lymphocyte for example do you know for sure that lymphocyte is present inside the tumor. Maybe the tumor only has macrophages. The answer will be either by reading and finding out if people have looked for lymphocyte within HNSCC or by actually staining a HNSCC sample and check if lymphocyte is present in it.
Again... it really depends on what type of immunological studies you intend to run. Going back to the lymphocyte example I might do it in a deferent way .. by bringing lymphocyte form a different source and incubate the lymphocyte with the HNSCC and look for a response. You can do a lot of thing... and as I said your question is very broad.
