Thank you Agnella. Based on my experience,I send my paper to journals. After rejection of my paper,I modify the paper and send it to new journal. Actually the publication time is an important factor. It takes 6 months to one year. Rejection possibilities are more for high impact factor journals
Scientists interest lies in publishing laboratory experimental results in reputed journals and explain their research findings to a wider public. Selection of the journal for publishing a scientific paper is based on several factors like information on various aspects from professional associations, journal visibility, impact factor,H-index,journal rank,,google scholar citations etc. Sometimes publication of a paper takes longer time. After receiving the proof, authors feel that more work could have been done.I feel paper should be published as soon as possible.
