The position of the oscillator fluctuates with a root mean square displacement amplitude del x= (Kb*T/m*w^2)^1/2, where m is mass of the oscillator and w is frequency. At high temp. oscillator will behave as classical oscillator. But what are the other condition with respect to frequency and temp so that the mesoscopic harmonic oscillator can be distinguish as classically or quantum mechanically?

Thanks...
