What is dipole-dipole interaction?
When atoms with different electronegativity are bonded to each other, bias is generated in the charge although it is slight. For example, in the H - O bond, the oxygen atom has a higher electronegativity, so the oxygen atom carries a slightly negative charge, and the hydrogen atom takes a slight positive charge. The strong electronegativity means that the ability to attract electrons is strong.
