When modeling open channel wave boundary conditions, many of the variables that are used in open channel flow, also exist for open channel wave boundary conditions. You may have to refer to Modeling Open Channel Flows for information about some of the settings.

To use the open channel wave boundary condition, perform the following:

Enable Gravity and set the gravitational acceleration fields.

Setup → General Gravity → On

Enable the Volume of Fluid model in the Multiphase Model dialog box.

Setup → Models → Multiphase → Edit...

Under Formulation, select either Implicit or Explicit.

Under VOF Sub-Models, select Open Channel Wave BC.

The VoF model assumes that the volume fraction is always between 0 and 1 for a particular phase, meaning there can be no empty regions, and each control volume must be occupied by one or more of the present phases. It contains a single phase continuity equation to solve for the volume fraction and a single set of momentum equations for the entire flow field. It is also capable of handling factors such as surface tension and wall adhesion when enabled, as well as a number of turbulence models.

I am sorry for the late resposnse. Yes. it is an opne channel flow. The problem with me is even after running the simulation for couple of hours, I am not able to get the result. I believe I am making some mistake in setup different boundary conditions. Would you like to suggest something?
