Transition metals share close properties although have different response during photocatalytic degradation, which of them are best for photocatalytic degradation of aqueous organic pollutants?
Transition metal oxides such TiO2, ZnO etc. can be considered as an ideal photocatalyst. You can refer my articles regarding the same.
beside TiO2 and ZnO, others include oxides of tungsten (W2O6), bismuth, vanadium, tin and copper. Also sulfides of Zn, Tin and iron.
