- Il est connu certes que les couverts forestiers du monde en particulier ceux de l'Amazonie et ceux de l'Afrique centrale semblent être désignés du doigt, car il est aussi connu qu'ils dégagent de l'oxygène (O2) la journée et absorbent le gaz carbonique (CO2) la nuit. Il s'agit là du fonctionnement normal de la photosynthèse (enseigné dans les établissements).
- Le gaz carbonique s'il n'est pas séquestré par la végétation, il va resté dans l'atmosphère et va la réchauffer 'Gaz à effet serre" (d'où l'augmentation de la température de l'air).
Les solutions devant tout cela, il faut:
- Choisir les espères à reboiser qui séquestrent beaucoup de CO2,
- Réduire la production industrielle capable de d’émettre énormément de CO2 dans l'air,
- Remplacer les énergies fossiles par de l'énergie propre (une solution pour le futur).
Il s'agit là d'une dynamique à entreprendre et d'un comportement humain à envisager qui vont demander beaucoup de moyens (financiers surtout).
