What are the best IHC markers to identify different cortical layers in primates and rodents?

I worked primarily in primate somatosensory electrophysiology, and I have little experience in IHC. I need to identify different cortical layers in both primates and rats (specifically in 3b area). There are several different markers for layers, but most of them are for multiple layers (eg. layer 2 and 3, etc.). Can someone help me with IHC markers specific for each individual layer? I don't want ISH staining.
