I suggest trying magnetic stirring using magnets and a magnetic stirrer. To achieve better results, fill the Erlenmeyer flask to no more than one-third of its volume and use a suitably sized magnet. Avoid stirring the medium at high RPMs, as this can induce shear stress on bacterial cells.
