What are inexpensive (but efficient) alternatives to flow-cytometric analysis for leukemia detection?

Flow cytometric analysis for this cancer is usually performed with monoclonal antibodies, which are expensive and difficult to access for a huge part of the population. Any alternative detection techniques in mind? Is quick detection necessary for this disease?

Though I'm little unclear about you question, but if you want to detect some markers (like CDs) then PCR can be the alternative?
