Hi,

Anyone know what is the unit for the current output of running SOFC simulation using ANSYS? The post-processing is conducted as follows:

In the Surface Integrals panel, you can determine the area of the electrolyte by using these settings (see Figure 5): Report Type = Area Surfaces = electrolyte surface The current strength of the electrolyte surface can be calculated with these settings (see Figure 6): Report Type = Integral Field Variable = User Defined Memory ... => Interface Current Density Surfaces = electrolyte surface

As far as I know the unit should be Ampere (A), but some paper use A/cm2 as their unit and in fluent the unit came out as ((A/m2)/m2) Which one is true?
