I wanted to check the expression of Chk1 protein in 8 cell lines.
Firstly, I tried western blotting using anti-Chk1 Rabbit mAb. The signal of the band could be detected 6 cell lines of these cell lines. The 2 cell lines that couldn't be detected are different from the other cell lines. So I thought this result is true. But I heard that Chk1 is expressed in all cells and it is needed for successful cell division in normal cells.
Next, I tried same experiment using anti-Chk1 Mouse mAb. The signal of the band wad detected in all cell lines.
Why does it happen?
