We have some proteomics data from 2017 and 2018 for which the raw files are missing, but we have the processed raw data. Is the data publishable?

We are missing some mass-spec raw files from 2017 and 2018 when deposition of raw files were not mandatory. Since most of the journals now require raw file availability through ProteomeXchange, is there a way to publish these data? We have all the processed raw files (byonic) that we can make available.

Everything depends on journal which you are targeting because many of them still do not make it mandatory to upload your mass spec data in repository. However, if you have spectral libraries it should not be a problem at all. Just contact ProteomeXchange and mention that you would like to do a partial upload because some of raw data is missing. They should make it possible for you like they did once for me.
