The 4 lines in blood are 1- with two ring 13, other with two normal 13, other with monosomy 13, other with only one ring 13. Someone could give me information about this topic?
yes I know is mosaicism, but why this diferents lines in blood and skin, may be the stem cells in bone marow are undergoing a kind of disomy or something similar....
Level of mosaicism will vary between tissue lines. High turnover cell lines such as leukocyte a may underestimate level of abnormal cells, as t13 and 18 cells have shorter half life.
If child has phenotypic features of the condition the fact of mosaicism may not be all that helpful. If no features and low level mosaicism it can be harder to predict outcome.
thanks Andrew. the begining of history started when this man was 5 years old . We found 2 celular lines in blood one with the ring 13 and the other with 45,XY -13. 20 years later we analized this individual again and them we found 4 lines in blood and 2 lines in skin (in skin the result was similar to blood in the childhood of this man) !!!! what happen in the stem cells of this man?
