It's difficult to give a straightforward answer as the impact of social networks on the construction of identity in adolescence can vary depending on various factors such as individual differences, context, and usage patterns.
It depends on the person or the individual using it. Social media is merely a tool, just like any tool. It can cause harm/damage if it used negatively however it can also promote productivity and enhance ones self if it is used positively.
