Dear Colleagues,
I'm investigating third-order nonlinear optical effects in dyes such as Acid Blue 29, Oil Red O, ect. To exploit the applications of these materials, we have to convert them into thin film. The films were prepared by free radicals bulk polymerization. Can Sol-gel and sputtering methods be used to make organic films? These organic material do not crystallize.
I look forward to hearing from colleagues in this field.
