I just want to know whether does make a sense normalize the absolute result of electronic von Frey (in grams), with the animal’s weight. Indeed, our doubt is; as von Frey is a mechanic threshold test, we asked whether the most reliable/trustworthy normalize the result (g) by the weight (in grams also) between two different weight population (obese and non-obese mice)?

If I understand well your question (normalizing light touch threshold recorded with bending filaments on the skin), I don't see why you would or could normalized by the weight of the animal. As it is stated here, I do not see how it could make sense.
What was your "pro" arguments? Maybe it is related to your material and methods?
