I am looking for an assay (rapid and convenient) where I can quantify/semiquantitative amount of very small peptides (dipeptides to tetrapeptides) in solution.

I have tried different commercial kits based on different methods (Pierce, Thermo, BCA) but they didnt provide precise quantification and moreover they cant detect very small peptides (dipeptides).

Another thing I would like to try if I can target specific peptide with specific amino acid and can track them during incubation/treatment (for 24-48h). This is possible if we can label the desired peptide somehow?

I appreciate any help from people having background and expertise in analytical chemistry..

Thanks in advance..

Cheers,
