Hello all,

I'm interested in testing the cardiotoxicity of different drugs of interest using a Ca2+ influx assay, specifically the Molecular Devices EarlyTox cardiotoxicity kit that uses fura-2 based dye and read on a SpectraMax microplate reader. So far, we've been using iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes (iCells), but we are interested in isolating cardiomyocytes from adult mice instead. Does anyone know of any good protocols and whether isolated mouse myocytes have been used before in a Ca2+ influx assay?
