Which one of the following softwares is more useful and suitable for modeling seismic waves (load or source) in geotechnical field, by considering the running time, easy to start and use (not complicated), manual and examples (especially in 3D modeling) and etc.?
ABABQUS, LS DYNA, COMSOL, PLAXIS ... or Written Codes (finite-element code, finite difference code and so on.)

I work with LS-DYNA and ABAQUS software. Based on my information, ABAQUS is more user friendly than LS-DYNA and there are many free manuals and examples on the internet. On the other hand, LS-DYNA software not only contains many predefined materials (approximately 350) but also its Solver is faster than ABAQUS.

Along with the softwares you mentioned, you can also consider Flac (or Flac3D) which is based on Finite difference formulation that is well suited for analyzing wave propagation in continues media with nonlinear behavior and large strain deformations. Although the Finite element method is suitable for analyzing structures, it would not be my choice for geo-techtnical issues.

FLAC software has good performance based on FISH programming language , but i think its not free that needs some flash or etc.
Also this software takes mush time to finish the running process.

I think, getting start with LS DYNA is too difficult because there is not suitable manual or examples to know how to model different things.

You have option like PLAXIS3D software, it is finite element based model and easy to simulate any kind of shape. The tutorial manual also available with this software. Student version of the software is available but you won't get complete future in student version. Also, you have an option to choose ABAQUS and FLAC. all the best in your research.

According to my experience, not only the simplest software's environment is belong to PLAXIS, but also the lowest storage capacity is held by it. It's a lot easier to learn based on the available resources on the Internet (including user manual, videos, tutorials, etc). However, other software, especially ABAQUS, have own advantages. But the learning is more complicated.
From my point of view, i recommend the 2D and 3D versions of PLAXIS 2017.

The PLAXIS is very good and simple in order to start simulation and also has a good manual and examples.
I think plaxis is too simple without enough options and some times gives unclear output (different and not exact) that might be due to using old version.
in addition, analyzing steps and their options are too complicated

If you are looking for numerical modelling kind of software then MATLAB, is also good.
In this there are two ways to do it, either through the code or using SIMULINK.
If the data of the seismic vibrations are ready with you then you can very easily deal with results interpretation through MATLAB.
This will be helpful to you for vibration signal analysis.

I agree with you about working by new version of PLAXIS 2D AND 3D, its become more simple and its possible to write a code to change and add other things that we need such as constitutive models and etc.
It should be noted that for developing countries (as you know) its to difficult for student to buy this software (not commercial using) and also its not available such as ABAQUS, FLAC, LS-DYNA and etc., so just we can use the old versions!

Yes, its much helpful, MATLAB is the best and final solution if we can't find the suitable software. however, its better to use software or code for the main modeling that is presented and enhanced during the years by expert peoples.
