No... is the short answer, Dr Rabah, this is what has been merely speculated by teachers and lecturers in the UK and from little research online. This is not to be judged as supportive to any one party and not to be interpreted as abusive to any of the parties mentioned. (I know this is a sensitive topic)
The choice for Ambassador to Israel was David Friedman, a bankruptcy lawyer from Long Island who held right-wing views on the Middle East and contributed money in support of the same West Bank settlement as the Kushners.
Jared Kushner loves Israel and hates Arabs, also, he is gullible and ignorant (Netenyahu and his own words - not mine). In interviews with Netenyahu and Trump, Trump appeared not to know what the issue is in the middle east (with intention to make peace) (both want one state but not the other one). There has been interest to show off and boast but any attempt of trump to make peace always ends up with a dead person somewhere, or using the "Branding" technique where he brands people into the enemy (Such as crooked Hilary) He made peace impossible in the middle east for the next 10 years as the tactic of (push them into the corner) does not work if you are already in the corner and have nothing to lose. but the reason that he made peace initiatives so difficult is his controversial move of moving the embassy to Jerusalem, which although was an innocent move to support his allies, it caused the UN generally as he destroyed a state sovereignty to work against him, so whatever plan he has, has to be so good and mutually beneficial that both states are going to gain more from it than they would from war. ( a good example would be Ethiopia and Eritrea)
The nation state law reduced the rights of Christians, Druze and Muslims to have a say in Israel making it partially if not wholly apartheid.
Another reason is Hizbullah having the weapons and getting orders from Iran (not an Arab nation) which causes fear for the Lebanese and Israelis alike and is one of the reasons why Israel can be militarily strict. As long as Hizbullah have weapons, Israel will never have efforts towards peace initiative which is understandable. Also, the failure in communication with Iran causes them to build nuclear material to make a weapon of which Israel would prepare to retaliate which means Iran will pump more money into Hizbullah.
There are many other reasons why an initiative cannot take place and they vary from economic to strategic and ethical, all of which are too complicated and pointless(my view) as they can both have a mutually beneficial agreements. I am not as knowledgeable as a lecturer and you should research what I said as there may be something wrong I said, but I would advise checking Professor Yaacov Yadgar or any of the people who research under him.
In conclusion, both teams are not helping and if peace is to happen, it is likely to be done by the new Sultan of Oman.
(This is such a sensitive topic and I am scared to post it but as a man who wants peace, it is good to identify what can be seen in the public eye and analyse from it to eliminate the possibilities of war and increase the possibility of a peace initiative and I hope I was as impartial and objective as a blind judge and I hope I did not make any mistakes to offend either side)
Looking at President Trump from a global Perspective, he has failed to normalize the Syrian Isis crisis that has made Turkey to take advantage of our allies -the Kurds, he has destroyed the six-power Peace Treaty with Iran that was intended to contain its Nuclear ambitions, he has weakened the US's role in the Asian Pacific by abandoning to protect our allies- particularly South Korea and Japan by allowing North Korea, which is a Chinese "emblem" for the projection of its Power, and currently he has been impeached for a folony and abuse of Conress which is supposed to supervise his role in the structure of the 3 branch checks and balances. The Senate might remove him from US leadership. In the Light of all this, and given the idea that he alone can conduct American Diplomacy World wide, It is unlikely for such a lier to negotiate fruitful diplomatic initiatives.
no, most of the time he became fail to solve the problem,,, in the matter of Israel -Palestine,Donald Trump will not be able to solve the problem, because he is bias on Israel because American can got many natural resources middle East Era,
it s not a peace initiative ...it s an bad version of paxamericana initied by george bush (father) so unfortunately , this process can t solved the problem in middle -east.
