The US abdomen and pelvis of 65 Years old male report says: Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position. They show normal echogenicity with preserved interfaces and parenchymal thickness. No masses or cysts could be detected, apart from left lower pole simple cyst measuring 10 mm in diameter.
Will this need a follow-up by a CT scan, or there is no need?

Couldn't be the criteria (((((( (1) spherical or ovoid shape; (2) absence of internal echoes; (3) presence of a thin, smooth wall that is separate from the surrounding parenchyma; and (4) enhancement of the posterior wall, indicating ultrasound transmission through the water-filled cyst.5 ))))))for the simple cyst byt US imaging not met, but the radiologist who wrote the report viewed it as so (mistakenly)? Or Is it clear from the image that this is a simple cyst?

No hurry repeat ultrasound in 3 to 6 months
