Hello All,

I am relatively new to SolidWorks Flow Simulation and I recently started learning CFD (of course with prior academical experience in Fluid Mechanics). I wanted to conduct a simple flow analysis on a 56 Inch Pipe.

However, I am unable to proceed due to the Rebuild Error which says "It is possible to calculate internal task, when there are no sources defined, only when the "Heat conduction in solids" option is enabled." I get this error when I try to create the Mesh. Please note that I am not intending to conduct a thermal analysis at this point of time.

I shall include the General Settings of the Analysis as follows:  Geometry: NPS 56 inch pipe class 150 - Length of pipe: 30 inch with lids created on both ends, thereby making the geometry suitable for internal flow.

Analysis Type: Internal flow ; Exclude cavities without flow conditions - Check

Fluids: Water at NTP , Flow type: Laminar and Turbulent , No Cavitation

Wall Conditions: Default Wall Conditions: Adiabatic Wall with 0 Roughness

IC: Thermodynamic Properties: Flow analysis at NTP

Velocity Parameters: 20m/s Velocity in positive X direction (along the axis of the pipe)

Please share your thoughts/suggestions as to where/what I am doing wrong.

Thank you.
