Accurately detecting NOx under conditions where flue gases contain high levels of water vapor poses significant difficulty due to its solubility within such medium. However, available techniques enable accurate detection despite these challenges; one effective technique being chemiluminescence with its reliable sensitivity and selectivity for identifying the presence of NOx emissions. Using a chemiluminescent analyzer detects light intensity resulting from reactions occurring between ozone molecules & emitted light by nitrogen oxide molecules (NO). It is important to note that accuracy may experience some interference from intense humidity within ambient air.
